Caramel Sauce


  • 4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups corn syrup
  • 1/2 lb salted butter…
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 300 ml sweetened condensed milk


1- Mix sugar, syrup, and butter over medium heat in saucepan. As soon as it starts to boil stir constantly for eight minutes. Remove from heat.
2-Add water in 3 intervals, 1/4 cup at a time, stirring well after each addition.
3- Add sweetened condensed milk. Stir until well blended.
4-Pour into sterilized canning jars and place lids on. Store in refrigerator.
