Ingredients
- 1 stick (¼ pound) butter
- 4 cups strawberries
- 1 cup sugar
BATTER:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F. Melt 1 stick butter in 9×13-inch pan. Mix together 4 cups strawberries and 1 cup sugar. Put in saucepan, bring to boil. Mix together second 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour and 1 cup milk. Blend until moistened. Pour batter over melted butter. Put strawberry mixture over batter. Bake 30 minutes. Delicious with vanilla ice cream.
