Simple And Savory Sausage Cheese Balls

I went to a baby shower for a friend from school last year.
I hadn’t talked to her in years, and I wasn’t really sure how I even got an invitation, but I was honored to go. Now, baby showers aren’t always my favorite thing, especially when I’m afraid I’m not going to know anyone there. Thankfully, when I arrived, I saw plenty of familiar faces. After we got caught up on what we had been doing the past several years, they started bringing out the foods.
When I saw these sausage and cheese balls I was really interested. I had never seen anything like it. I asked the girl that was expecting the baby where they came from and surprisingly, she said her mom made them homemade with a recipe she found on Group Recipes.
When I tasted them it was such a flavor experience! I couldn’t wait to find the recipe and make them myself at home. They were a huge hit with my whole family too! Now I make these for a special treat and sometimes for breakfast on the go. I never hear anyone say a word about not getting what they wanted to eat when these are on the table!

I like to make a big batch of these and keep them in the fridge. That way, when any of us get hungry, we can just toss a few in the microwave and they are a great snack or meal on the go. Just make sure when you make these you make enough to go around! They go quickly…and you might be surprised at how many you can eat yourself. These are perfect for picky little ones that you can can’t satisfy with any other homemade dish…my kids love them!
These are a great holiday treat! I like to make them when my kids are on vacation from school. It’s something different that everyone really enjoys.
