Ingredients

  • 1 pound 450 g lean ground beef
  • 1 cup 113 g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cans 8 ounces each refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
Brown the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the lean ground beef until browned and fully cooked through. Carefully drain any excess grease from the pan.
Season and Cool: Stir the garlic powder directly into the cooked beef. Remove the skillet from the heat and allow the mixture to cool for a few minutes.
Add the Cheese: Add the shredded cheddar cheese to the slightly cooled beef and mix until the cheese is evenly distributed throughout.
Prep the Dough: Unroll the refrigerated crescent dough and separate it into the pre-cut triangles.
Stuff the Pastries: Place about 1 tablespoon of the cheesy beef mixture directly in the center of each dough triangle.
Seal the Puffs: Bring the corners of the dough up around the filling. Aggressively pinch the seams together to form tightly sealed, round puffs.
